Education Alternatives in Omaha Nebraska

The Omaha Public Schools district is in charge of all public schools in the Omaha region, and has 60 elementary schools, 11 middle schools and 8 high schools under its control. These include Rose Hill Elementary School, Monroe Middle School, and Benson High School. The OPS also offers 5 schools with alternative programs, which provide additional learning opportunities for students with behavioral and learning disorders or other disabilities.

Omaha also has a selection of 65 private schools within its borders, consisting of 50 elementary schools covering grades Pre-kindergarten to grade 8, 7 high schools covering grades 9 to 12, and 8 schools which cover the full range of grades, or are ungraded.
