Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo
The Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is a leader in animal conservation and research, and their four primary objectives are conservation, research, recreation, and education. They provide exciting opportunities for visitors to enhance their knowledge of the natural world, and in October, 2004, Omaha's Henry Dorrly Zoo had 184 species of mammals, 276 species of birds, 176 species of reptiles, 42 species of amphibians, 181 species of fish, and 103 species of invertebrates. Managing more than 17,000 specimans representing 962 species, the Zoo covers 130 woodland acres, and includes 15 major animal habitats. The Zoo also has an aggressive undergraduate, graduate, and post doctoral student program.
Fun-Plex Amusement Park and Water Park
Fun-Plex is Nebraska's largest water and ride park. They have five-story waterslides, lazy river, wave pool, go-karts, kiddie, family ride, and much more! Fun-Plex is also introducing a roller coaster to the park. They've been a part of Omaha, Nebraska for 30 years, and plan to go another 30!
